Bonsai Tree Classification

Bonsai as an art has two ways to classify it, either as landscape bonsai known as Penjing or just as a bonsai tree. Penjing usually has elements associated with it. There are also offer different kinds of classifications, such as by numbers, whether being a single trunk, double or triple trunk, multiple trunks. You can sort them by height, extra large, large, medium, small, and extra small bonsai, also known as mame bonsai. And obviously by quality, which we hear a lot such as superior or master quality and common, usually found at stores. As a tree species, bonsai are classified in two main categories. They can either be grasses or trees.
